About VitusLab
VitusLab is a research and consultancy company on
ocean transports and climate dynamics.
VitusLab was established in the spring 2009 by oceanographer and climate researcher
Jørgen Bendtsen, Ph. D.
VitusLab has two employees which both have a background and longstanding experience in ocean- and climate research and consultancy on marine issues. VitusLab is located in Symbion Science Park in Copenhagen where the operation of the computer fascilities also takes place.
The company name VitusLab is inspired by the danish born sea farer
and explorer Vitus Bering who discovered large areas of Siberia, the
Bering Sea and the North Western America in the 18th century.
The vision of VitusLab is to investigate the interplay between ocean
and climate with a special focus on the Baltic Sea and the Arctic sea areas
which were earlier navigated by Vitus Bering...
